Welcome to Buggy Belles postnatal fitness! Currently operating in Islington and Stoke Newington, all classes are suitable from 6 weeks postnatal onwards (you must have had your 6-8 week postnatal check up to join the class). Buggy Belles founder Belle Amooty is a qualified pre and postnatal instructor and personal trainer and brings you an effective, safe and specific one-hour workout with no childcare concerns – you simply bring your baby in your buggy!
Buggy Belles will help you to:
- Burn off excess baby fat with cardio pushing and stepping
- Tighten and tone your muscles with resistance and functional fitness training
- Improve core stability for a stronger back and flatter abs
- Strengthen your pelvic floor so you can sneeze with ease!
Running Belles is a class for women combining running / jogging / power walking with functional fitness and an emphasis on core strength. Non-mums are welcome at this class, but if you are a mum then this is baby free time as they stay at home!
About me I have 15 years experience of education and the fitness industry. After graduating in 2000 I spent 10 years in north London as a teacher of Physical Education. Before having children I became a Personal Trainer and Pushy Mothers buggy workout instructor and have specialised in pre and post natal exercise for 7 years. I am passionate about helping mums to recover physically and emotionally from childbirth in a safe and enjoyable environment created in the classes. My aim is to educate clients about getting back into shape safely so that the body has time to adjust to changes that have taken place over the last 9 months. Every exercise targets specific areas to help push yourself back into shape in a safe and enjoyable way.
